Duravit is, above all, a designers’ brand. Founded in Hornberg, Germany in 1817, it has turned the bathroom into a piece of design and TMT Central Bathrooms brings that design to life across London, from a single statement basin to a complete Duravit bathroom.

Few manufacturers are as closely tied to their designers as Duravit. Philippe Starck created the sculptural ME by Starck and the petal-like White Tulip; Cecilie Manz brought a soft, Scandinavian feel to the Luv series; and sieger design produced the precise Viu and XViu ranges. Everyday collections like Happy D.2, DuraStyle and D-Code carry that same considered look into more practical price points.
The engineering you don’t notice
Behind the design sits genuinely clever engineering. Duravit’s rimless pans remove the hidden ledge where bacteria gather; its HygieneGlaze fired-in glaze is designed to kill the vast majority of bacteria on the ceramic; and HygieneFlush rinses the entire bowl. On basins, its c-bonded technique fuses bowl and worktop into one seamless line.
Duravit ceramics pair beautifully with precision brassware from Hansgrohe or Grohe, and we usually build wall-hung Duravit WCs onto a concealed Geberit frame for that clean, floating look. We also plumb in and connect Duravit SensoWash shower toilets, including the power and water they need. From mansion flats in Marylebone to new-builds across the city, we design it, supply it and fit it as one job.

We then look at the room in person or through clear photos and details. We check the layout, pipes, electrics and structure. This helps us plan a safe and smart construction approach.
Next, we share a clear plan. We suggest layouts and designs that fit your home and your taste. We point out key materials and fixture choices. We include notes on lighting, storage, and space use.
We then give you a written quote that explains the services included. We talk you through it in simple terms so you feel confident and informed before you say yes.
When you are happy, we lock in the plan. We agree on a start date and a simple schedule. We order the main fixtures and branded items. We plan when each tradesperson will be on site.
Careful management and clear communication keep the project smooth. You always know what is happening next.
During the build, we protect floors and nearby rooms. We removed the old bathroom safely. We carry out plumbing, electrics, tiling, and installation in the right order. We keep you updated on progress in clear language.
You have a single point of contact for all questions. We manage the whole project, the tradespeople and the timing, so you do not have to.
At the end, we carry out careful checks. We test taps, showers, and baths. We check the toilet flush and drainage. We test lights, fans and switches. We look over tiles, joints, and seals and fix any small issues before we finish.
Then we walk through the new bathroom with you. We explain how to care for your new surfaces and fittings. We only leave when you are happy with the result.
Both work. We usually prefer to supply Duravit ourselves so we can match the right range to your room, but we are happy to fit pieces you have already bought.
It depends on the look you want ME by Starck and White Tulip for statement design, Happy D.2 or DuraStyle for a cleaner everyday feel. We will walk you through the options at the design stage.
